Our Vision

Our Vision and Prayer for the Border, the Baja and Beyond!

Our vision is to see the Lord work in such a way that the bi-national city of San Diego – Tijuana (US/Mexico) Border, the Baja and Beyond is renewed as the captives are set free. The Lord will bring beauty out of the ashes and these lands will be oaks of righteousness. Our prayer is that the gospel of Jesus Christ so fills the border and the Baja and Beyond, so that the whole region is transformed spiritually, socially and culturally. We work in partnership with other like-minded ministries to plant a network of churches in this great bi-national border city, the Baja and beyond!

In this video, Dave shares the vision for what we are praying that God will do on the Border.

Out of the overflow of the gospel churches and ministries for all the nations represented in the area will be started and they will flourish.

These churches will have a healing influence. As Isaiah 61:1-3 proclaims, the good news will be proclaimed to the poor,  the brokenhearted will be healed, those in captivity will receive liberty and those in prison will be set free. The devastated city will be rebuilt and restored.

The border culture and the Baja will be transformed and have a healing ripple effect along the rest of the border, to other Hispanic communities and affect Mexico and the world.

We like to say the Border, the Baja and Beyond and we are working throughout Mexico. We have ministries all along the border, Tijuana, Mexicali, Ensenada, Juarez, and Reynosa. In the Interior of Mexico, we are working in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Acapulco, Monterrey, La Paz, Durango, Oaxaca, Colima and more.

Here’s a short video that introduces how our churches are bringing transformation to communities in Tijuana/Rosarito.

The San Diego – Tijuana Border & the Baja

San Diego – Tijuana represents the largest binational city in the world with over 5 million people. Over 40 million people cross the SD-TJ border each year, making it the most land crossed border crossing in the world. For the U.S. it is a gateway to Mexico. Tijuana is the second most visited city in the western hemisphere. New York City ranks first.

This region really is a tale of two cities. On the one hand, there is the beauty, wonderful climate, rich food and culture that the region promises. On the other, there is poverty, drug addiction, human trafficking, gang violence and oppression among other social evils. The light of Christ has yet to fully grip and transform these cities like we know it can.

We are now reaching other key cities in Baja California: Mexicali, Ensenada, La Paz, and Los Cabos. God has also expanded our reach into other cities in Mexico: Cuilacán, Hermosillo, Ciudad Obregon, Tapachula and Queretaro. Beyond the borders of Mexico, we are reaching a number of cities on the *Big Island (not mentioned specifically for Security reasons). The Lord is opening many exciting doors! Come join us on this adventure.

  1. Thanks for your comment, and you are right in that ultimately our desire is to see the border become a better place. I believe as people follow Jesus, and are transformed by the power of the gospel that Jesus teaches this will happen.

Feel free to comment any time, I appreciate another point of view which brings a different perspective, and might help me to refine my thinking.

    Thanks, Dave
