God Is on the Move: Building His Church
Dawn and I believe that one of the main reasons we’ve seen so much fruit over the past 14 years is because of our amazing team. The Lord has blessed us with dedicated and faithful team members.
Peter & Jenny Boling
With 25 years in missions, Peter and Jenny Boling have made a significant impact in locations such as Cabo San Lucas, Barriles, La Paz, Mexico, and Bogotá, Colombia. Currently based in La Paz, Mexico, they work closely with Pastor Benjamin and Blanca Romero to plant and grow Senda de Gracia (Path of Grace). The church, which officially became a congregation in May, is growing quickly. The Bolings are asking for prayer for the church as they need a larger facility to accommodate their growth. Their deep passion for prayer and encouragement, combined with their strong gifts of mercy, drives their work. They are integral to our mission, and Dawn and I are blessed to minister alongside them and cherish them as dear friends.
In La Paz, their work with Pastor Benjamin and Blanca Romero at Senda de Gracia (Path of Grace) is a testament to their unwavering commitment. They have been instrumental in nurturing the church’s growth, even as it outgrows its current facility. Their dedication is evident in their active involvement in prayer meetings, community outreach, and personal mentorship, helping to lay a strong foundation for future growth.
One of the most rewarding moments for the Bolings and Pastor Benjamin and Blanca was witnessing the first baptisms at Senda de Gracia. Seeing new believers publicly declare their faith and join the church was a powerful reminder of why we do this work. It was a moment of joy and fulfillment, reflecting the fruit of our collective efforts and the faithfulness of our team.
These stories highlight the dedication, impact, and personal connections that our team brings to the mission. Their work is a vital part of building the Church and making a lasting difference in the communities we serve.
Jim DeWitt
Jim DeWitt is another key team member. We first met Jim when we were young missionaries in Mexico City in the 90’s. Known affectionately as “Uncle Jim” by our children, Jim brings exceptional administrative skills and a heart for training. His skills in training have been pivotal in developing our church planters and leaders. Jim helps me conduct workshops and seminars that equip leaders with the tools they need to succeed, focusing on practical skills and spiritual growth. His caring nature and expertise are vital to our work, assisting with projects, budgets, and fundraising.
Jim’s dedication is also seen in his personal interactions. He has a knack for connecting with people on a personal level, offering encouragement and guidance.
Jim’s behind-the-scenes work is crucial in sharing our story. His talent for creating and editing videos, like the one featured here, allows us to visually communicate the impact of our mission. The videos not only help capture our stories but also inspire others to support and get involved.
Together, these dedicated friends and coworkers are making a profound difference in our mission and the communities we serve. Their commitment and contributions are vital to building the Church and advancing God’s work across the regions we reach.
