Honoring Hannah’s Legacy by Sharing Christ’s Love

What if a simple toy, a notebook, or a pair of shoes could become a doorway to hope for an entire family? That’s what God is doing through Hannah’s Toys of Hope on the Big Island—turning small gifts into powerful reminders that He sees, cares, and provides. As this year comes to a close, Dawn and I are in awe of how the Lord is using your prayers and generosity to touch children, parents, and pastors with the love of Christ.
Dawn and I are deeply grateful for each of you. Because of your generosity and faithful partnership, we are able to bring practical help and the life-changing message of Jesus Christ to families on the Big Island through Hannah’s Toys of Hope. This ministry is a beautiful way for us to honor the memory of our daughter, Hannah, and to continue sharing the hope of Christ with children and families who need it most.
This year alone, more than 500 children received toys, school supplies, backpacks, socks, and shoes. It still amazes us how something that may seem small—a toy, a pair of socks, a backpack—can bring such overwhelming joy. Time and time again, we witness the Lord lighting up the faces of children and their parents as they receive these gifts.
A Mother’s Tears, A Family’s Hope
One moment in particular remains etched in our hearts. A mother we served could not stop crying as she thanked us for the school supplies we provided for her son. She knew she had no way to give them to him herself. You could see in her frail appearance the toll of malnutrition, a painful reality for so many families struggling to find enough food. Through your support, we have now helped over 1,000 families, some on a monthly basis, so they can purchase food and basic necessities.

Caring for Pastors and Leaders After the Storm

In recent months, following a Hurricane Melissa in Cuba, many of the pastors and leaders we work alongside have become ill due to mosquito-borne diseases. Access to medicine is extremely limited. We are doing everything we can to help provide the medications they need to recover and continue serving their communities.
As we come to the close of this year, we humbly ask you to pray for our familia:
- Pray for their daily needs and for God’s provision
- Pray that we can reach even more children with school supplies, shoes, socks, and toys
- Pray that the gospel will continue to go forth, transforming families and leading to new church plants
Extend Your Hands to Help 🤍

We invite you to consider a special year-end gift through Hannah’s Toys of Hope to help a child receive:

You may also choose to give toward one of our pastors, leaders, or families, helping them purchase food and essential necessities.
