Celebrating What God Has Done
There are moments in ministry when you stop, look back, and are simply overwhelmed—stunned by God’s goodness, humbled by His grace, and filled with gratitude for those who walk with you.
This week was one of those moments.
As we gathered with our dear friends and ministry partners from Ministerios Transformación (Transformation Ministries) to celebrate Christmas and the end of the year, I was struck by the story God has been writing—
a story you have helped shape with your prayers, generosity, and love.
Since 2012, we have partnered with MT to build and plant 9 new churches, and we’ve helped expand and strengthen 10 additional churches. We have been able to support their ministry through leadership development, evangelism training, coaching, and worship workshops.
Every milestone—every believer baptized, every new church dedicated—bears the fingerprints of God’s grace and your faithful partnership.
62 Churches Planted — Glory to God!
I still remember meeting Pastor Daniel Núñez and his wife, Yoly, back in 2010. Daniel shared a bold God-given vision:
“Fifty new churches in Baja California.”
At that time, they had only planted seven or eight. Yet Daniel carried a faith that inspired us from the beginning, and Dawn and I joined him in that dream.
Two years ago, we celebrated the dedication of the 50th church.
Today, the vision has expanded far beyond that
62 churches have now been planted across Baja California and beyond!
Praise the Lord for the advance of His Kingdom in Tijuana, Rosarito, Mexicali, Tecate, and other regions of Mexico.
Your Partnership Produces Eternal Impact
This spring, many of you gave toward rebuilding Pastor Abraham’s church after the devastating fire. Because of your prayers and generosity, that church is now restored and full of life again. Dawn and I want you to truly know—we could not see this movement advancing without you. You have played a vital role in each story of transformation.
With every new church planted, we think of the lives that have been changed through the Gospel.
Testimonies of God’s Faithfulness
Pastor Jorge’s story is a testimony of God’s power and grace.
Jorge was trapped in deep addiction when he attended one of the MT churches. While still lost in that lifestyle, he was shot three times and left for dead. Doctors told his mother that he would not survive.
But God miraculously raised him back to life.
In 2022, we helped Jorge build his church in Mexicali.
Today, that church is thriving. Families are being restored. Addicts are finding freedom. And Jorge and his wife, Lucy, have launched a rehab ministry reaching those who walk the road he once walked.
This is the gospel at work.
This is why we do what we do.
And this is the impact your generosity makes possible.
This is only one story among many, and we rejoice in all that God has done.
