The Gospel Is Spreading in Cuba

Even in the middle of severe hardship, the Gospel is advancing across Cuba.

Recently, Pastor Dunesky introduced me to one of the new church planters we now have the joy of partnering with, Pastor Yoise. He has a deep passion for reaching people for Christ and planting new churches.

He shares the Gospel wherever the Lord opens a door, often preaching at bus stops and in public places. Right now, he is training and raising up new leaders with a vision to launch 11 home churches throughout his region.

We are filled with expectation as we watch the Lord multiply Pastor Yoise’s ministry and expand His Kingdom through this work.

At the same time, the conditions on the Big Island continue to grow more difficult.

Dunesky shared how difficult daily life has become on the Big Island. There is no gasoline available in his region, making travel nearly impossible.

Yet his faith remains strong. He told me:

“I know that God is in control and that He cares for us. In the meantime, we will continue to do His work and bring people to Christ.”

Another one of our pastor partners, Pastor Eliaquin, shared:

“The price of basic foods—rice, beans, sugar, and cooking oil—has become extremely high. Food and medicine are scarce. There is no clean drinking water, and many homes have no electricity or gas for cooking.”

Hannah’s Toys of Hope: A Light in the Darkness

Through Hannah’s Toys of Hope, we continue to bless families facing extreme need.

We are able to provide items that many families describe as unreachable—simple things like shoes, backpacks, and school supplies for their children.

Yaima shared about a single mother, Yamilet, whom we are helping, whose home is falling apart. Yamilet expressed deep gratitude for the support she received. To cook for her children, she must build a fire outside, using firewood that costs $1200 pesos, which is about $4 per bag—nearly a third of her monthly income.

These simple gifts are more than material help; they are reminders that God sees them, loves them, and has not forgotten them.

Even in these severe conditions, the Church continues to stand and serve.

🙏 Please pray with us for:
  • God’s provision for daily food and basic needs

  • Protection for families, children, and the elderly

  • Strength for pastors and leaders who continue to serve faithfully

  • Peace amid fear, and hope amid despair

  • God’s mercy and intervention in these dark days

Thank you for taking the time to listen to their voices—and for standing with our familia in prayer, compassion, and love.

Together, may we be instruments of God’s care and hope in the midst of suffering.

🤲 Extend Your Hands to Help

In moments like these, prayer is essential—but practical help is also urgently needed.

Right now, families on the Big Island are struggling to survive day by day. Many have no food, no electricity, no transportation, and no access to medicine. Pastors are doing everything they can, but the needs far exceed their ability to respond alone.

Through your past generosity, we have been able to send emergency food aid, financial assistance, and support to pastors and their families—often arriving at the exact moment it was needed most. We want to continue doing that, but we cannot do it without your partnership.

Would you prayerfully consider sending a gift today—
$25, $50, $100, $500, or whatever the Lord places on your heart—to help provide food, essential supplies, and emergency relief to families in Cuba?

Your gift helps us:

  • Send immediate food and financial aid to families in crisis

  • Support pastors who are caring for their communities at great personal cost

  • Help children and the elderly survive these critical days

  • Remind our brothers and sisters that they are not forgotten

As Jesus reminds us:

“And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.” — Matthew 10:42

Thank you for standing with us—and with our Cuban familia—in this moment of great need. Your prayers and generosity are making an eternal difference.

Together, we can bring hope beyond borders.
