Lives Transformed Through Verdad y Vida Church

Imagine hearing that a man diagnosed with cancer walked into church one Sunday discouraged, and walked out filled with hope. That’s what God is doing through Verdad y Vida (Truth and Life) Church in Mexicali, and your prayers and generosity are part of that story.
Every gift and every prayer help lives change on the Border, the Baja, and Beyond. Through your support, families are finding faith, marriages are being restored, and entire communities are being renewed by the gospel. Within the caring community of Verdad y Vida, Pastor Federico and Blanca Muñoz are leading people to Jesus, discipling new believers, and planting seeds of transformation that will last for generations.
This year alone, twelve new people have joined the congregation, four have been baptized, and several couples are choosing to honor God by getting married legally, learning to build their homes on the foundation of His Word. We praise God for the powerful ways He is changing lives through your partnership.

The Muñoz family continues to shepherd their congregation with love and integrity, guiding them to walk faithfully with Christ and live out His Word each day.
A Miracle in Lucio’s Life

One of the church’s newest members, Lucio, came to Verdad y Vida after receiving a difficult cancer diagnosis. Invited by his stepmother, Lucio arrived at church feeling skeptical and discouraged. But when the congregation prayed for him, God began to work powerfully in his life.
Lucio started feeling stronger, his outlook changed, and he now testifies that God is healing him. Every Sunday, he arrives early to help clean and serve, expressing gratitude for what the Lord has done. He’s now being discipled and preparing for baptism — a powerful reminder of how God restores both body and soul.
Faith That Grows Through Loss

God is also working in Miguel’s life, who was recently baptized. When Miguel first began attending Verdad y Vida, his father was very ill. The church prayed earnestly for healing, and Miguel held onto great faith — but his father ultimately passed away.
Federico and Blanca feared this might shake Miguel’s faith, yet God used that season to strengthen him instead. Rather than turning away, Miguel drew closer to Christ and decided to be baptized. Today, he and his wife Berenice are growing in faith and serving as key members of the church.
Their story is a beautiful testimony of God’s strength in difficult times and how He uses pain to deepen our trust in Him.
Partnering to Build the Kingdom

These are just two of the many stories of what God is doing through Verdad y Vida — one of the churches we’ve been blessed to help plant. We are deeply grateful for Federico and Blanca’s faithful leadership as they reach their community and make an eternal difference for God’s Kingdom.
This is just one example of the many churches we’re partnering with on the Border, the Baja, and Beyond!
