God is Building His Church!
God is building his church on the Border, the Baja, and Beyond! We are delighted to see all that the Lord has done to accomplish the feat of building a new church in Mexicali. The church’s name is Verdad y Vida, “Truth and Life,” led by Pastor Federico and Blanca Muñoz. We just finished the church’s construction and held the first worship service on Sunday, November 5, 2023. After meeting in a park for almost two years, Federico and Blanca along with their people are thrilled to have a place to meet. We thank the Lord for all he has done and for those who have prayed and supported this project to make this dream a reality.
The Lord made it extra special by the fact that the first worship service was held on my mom’s birthday! God cares about these details and shows us his love and favor in so many ways.

Join Us in Prayer!
- Join us in prayer as they make this transition to their new building.
- Pray that many more lives will be changed by the gospel.
- Pray for Federico and Blanca as they lead the church.
- Pray for the remaining funds to come in so that they can add a room for the children’s ministry.
- Praise the Lord that a friend just committed to helping us to purchase and install an air conditioner. This is a huge blessing and answer to prayer, as the temperatures are frequently over 100.
