God Expands the Reach of Hannah’s Toys of Hope
This last week, I had a heartfelt conversation with Yaima, one of our incredible leaders on the Big Island. She shared how the Lord was expanding the ministry to children and families through Hannah’s Toys of Hope. The outreach has been so impactful that at their recent event they didn’t have enough toys for all the children who showed up.
Hearing this, I sent additional funds so that every child would receive a special toy. In the end, they had 75 children come,15 more than they expected, and each one received a ball. They joy and excitement on the facers of the children and their families were unforgettable.
It’s always encouraging to see how we could bless these families, especially during the Christmas season.
An Answered Prayer
As I prayed about these opportunities, I felt led to give some additional aid to some of the other families and leaders that we support. What I thought would just be a small extra blessing turned out to be much more significant. After receiving the aid, families began reaching out, sharing how it had come at just the right time.
One family in particular stood out. Today, I spoke with Dairon and Dayana, whose daughter is Jessica is featured in some of our videos, sharing how she prayed for toothpaste. Dayana told me about a recent visit to the doctor with their baby, Hannah, named after our daughter. At the time, Dayana was praying for the Lord’s provision, uncertain of how they would pay for the doctor, and buy food for their family. When they returned home, they found that the Lord had answered their prayers—our aid had arrived just in time.
These testimonies remind me of the profound ways God is at work. They encourage me to keep going knowing that together, we are making a tangible difference in the lives of these families.
God’s Faithfulness in Cuba
Our familia is sharing incredible testimonies of how God is moving despite immense challenges. Pastor Justo one of our key leaders, reflected on the year, “It has been difficult, but there is still seeing the fruit of God’s work in Cuba.”
Hearing this fills my heart with gratitude. Even in a season of trials, there are stores of transformation and hope. The pastors and leaders we serve are unwavering in the commitment to bring the gospel to new places, sharing the best news with people who are hurting and hungry for hope.
Looking Ahead to 2025
As I’ve been prayed and connected with our leaders, I sense the Lord is leading us to do more in 2025. My prayer is that God would multiply our resources so we can reach more people with the gospel and provide greater aid to those in need.
