Dawn & I have felt Nomadic lately

Our nomadic life may be coming to an end. We believe and hope it is!

We found a home that is eight miles from the San Diego-Tijuana border. It’s ten miles from the San Diego Mid-City area, and right in Chula Vista. I think it will be a very good location for us.

The home also provides enough space for me to have an office, and for us to host interns and other visitors.

We’ve prayed, and we’ve asked you to pray. This gives us added comfort knowing that so many people are praying for God to lead us to the right place.

We will pay and sign the contract tomorrow, so continue to stand with us in prayer that we will have smooth sailing all the way through to the end.

Dave & Dawn Diaso

I don’t like chaos, which I feel like we’ve experienced as we moved from our house in Colorado. We’ve also experienced it some as we’ve moved from home to home, living our nomadic life. More chaos lies ahead until we can get our home unpacked and settled. Pray for my sanity during this process! Pray that I’m patient and loving to Dawn and those that surround me.

Join us in praising the Lord for guiding, leading and directing us to the place he wants us to be. Thank you, Jesus!

In His Grip, Dave

  6. I’m so glad you came by and liked my post “Being a Witness”, as it lead me here to begin to find out about you, your family and your ministry. What a blessing your finding the right house is and what a needed reminder of God’s faithfulness, not just for you but for me as well.

Far from being nomadic, my husband and I have been in two places for about four years, for reasons which we believe God lead us to do and close enough to travel back and forth, but difficult nonetheless. Now our younger daughter is off to college and I’m trying to get the house ready to put on the market. My husband wants to just sell it as quickly as possible for however much we can get, while I would like to give it at least enough time in this market to try to get a reasonable amount. All the while the question looms as to whether we’ll be able to sell it at all, unless we practically give it away.

Your story reminds me that God can easily provide just the right buyer at the earliest possible time (although whether He will choose to do so or not, only He knows.) But I appreciate the reminder and pray blessings on you, your family and your ministry! Hopefully we’ll soon have our own story to add to the endless list of blessings He bestows so liberally.

    • yes – we went through all that with our home. We actually decided after our home had been on the market for a year that we would rent it out, if it didn’t sell by the end of July. Then God provided a buyer. Part of our waiting was based on our financial situation and our family needs. Everyone is different, so obviously a big part is seeking the Lord, and waiting on his timing.
