Sowing Seeds of Hope Through Church Planting
There’s something powerful about witnessing new life, especially when it happens through the local church.
We believe that planting churches is one of the most effective ways to bring lasting transformation. Every church we help start is a seed of hope, a lighthouse in its community, and a testimony of God’s faithfulness. As we sow the Gospel across Mexico and the Big Island of Cuba, we hold fast to this promise from Habakkuk 2:14:
“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.”
It’s exciting to witness how God is working in the churches we’re partnering with throughout Mexico and the Big Island of Cuba.
In Mexico, we are working in collaboration with Centro de Plantación de Iglesias (CPI) (Church Planting Center) and Ministerios Transformación (Transformation Ministries). Together, we are working to advance the Gospel by equipping pastors, planting churches, and encouraging spiritual renewal across the region. This isn’t just about numbers, it’s about people. Families. Entire communities being changed by the love of Jesus.
Durango: A Heart for Multiplication
Pastor Noé Reyes recently shared:
“In Durango, God is raising up a church with a missionary heart and a vision to expand His Kingdom. We are committed to preaching the Gospel and bringing a message of hope and comfort to every family. We are also actively working toward planting a second church.”
Recently, six new believers were baptized as part of this move of God!
God is moving powerfully through our ministry in Tijuana, Mexicali, La Paz, Durango, Oaxaca, Colima, Chihuahua, and on the Big Island. In each of these regions, we are partnering with faithful pastors to strengthen the church, proclaim the Gospel, and meet both spiritual and physical needs.
In recent months, more than 24 people have been baptized, and many others are being discipled and equipped to follow Jesus. Through evangelism, church planting, leadership development, and practical aid, we are witnessing the expansion of God’s Kingdom across Mexico and Cuba.
Faithful Steps in Chihuahua
Pastor Armando Cuevas is leading one of our newest church plants in Chihuahua, together with his wife, Laddy.
“Since January, we’ve been meeting in a rented space. Attendance has grown from around 10 people to approximately 22, including children. Our focus is on discipling and training leaders while preparing for summer evangelistic outreach.”
Pastor Armando has asked for prayer for a new, more suitable meeting space to support the church’s continued growth.
🎁 Hannah’s Toys of Hope: Sharing God’s Love With Children
Many of the children we serve have never owned a toy of their own. Some live in poverty-stricken areas where joy is scarce and daily needs often go unmet. Their eyes light up with joy when they receive a toy, often for the very first time, through Hannah’s Toys of Hope. They are hearing the good news of Jesus through a simple gift and a message of hope.
